I am an engineer, fender failed here….it’s just that simple. Note that the tone master amps are built exactly the same way.

AMPLITUBE FENDER FREE BLUETOOTH
I also recently have been running a fender gtx mustang, it’s sounds are really pretty good, the clean fender tones are good, the blue tooth, the foot switch, the random dropouts, and the build quality, are below acceptable, fender failed here, electronic components are glued together, like ribbon cables, and blue tooth cables, yup a Bluetooth cable with a cheep cable that wiggles and must be glued together…the headers used are the lowest quality one can find, all this leads to inconsistent quality control, some amps work some do not, I also suspect the balls on the IC chips to also be done by the lowest price China bidder, and it shows. It works well, but I must say, it’s fine for the studio, I would not call the build tour ready though… I have purchased celestion IR’s I still have not used, AmpliTube 5 alone pretty much gets the tones I am very happy with. Once you find a tone you dig, this will take it over the top. The speaker, room, and mic, area can really tweak a sound to perfection.
AMPLITUBE FENDER FREE PATCH
Today imho, AmpliTube 5 is better than helix.ĪmpliTube fender 1-2 are pretty much my go to amps.Īlso the zeppelin patch under the max presets, I use a great deal, I think helix amp sims are not all that great.Įspecially fender, and especially clean. Not after about at4, and at5 is even better, while line6 went all keyboard sounds. I have used AmpliTube from the very beginning, back in the day it lagged behind line6. Obviously without his fingers it will never sound the same, but it does give a great Texas blues sound. I was really pleased with the tone, I spent some time studying Mark Knopfler's rig and recreating it in Amplitube, I've also built a virtual Stevie Ray Vaughan El Mocambo era rig which I will record with soon. īelow is a recent upload of mine, a cover of Sultans, recorded with Amplitube and also a Focusrite interface. I am not up to speed with the current different versions and what's packaged with them, but I would recommend you get the Fender amp package, they really are very good. For me, and I bet a lot of Strat users, the chance to have a selection of virtual vintage Fender amps to play with is just awesome. I use Amplitube, I tried out several different different virtual amp/speaker rigs and for me it seemed to be the best balance in terms of being intuitive to use (everything from how the amp models look through to wiggling your mic in front of the speaker cab to get the best sound) and most importantly the sound.
